About Smart Me Academy
Founded with care in Meyerton Park — building futures through faith, sound teaching, and attention to the child in front of us.
Founder
Melisa Nhlapho
The method began with her own child in 2019. COVID-19 had opened a gap in his schoolwork. She downloaded worksheets and workbooks for him to complete each day, and she held a simple belief: educators should help children learn how to learn for themselves.
To close the same gap for other children, she gave time to friends’ children. Their ability improved. That result, and the wish to reach further, became real growth in 2020.
Smart Me Academy is now a learning centre for Grade R through high school. The aim is unchanged: know the child, do the work, and keep faith at the centre of the day.
